I just came across the name Casey Legler, she is the first and only woman who gets booked only as a male model at Ford Models, and the only one that’s known for doing that worldwide. Where does femininity stop and start again? Where is masculinity in a woman? How important is the way you dress or the way others see you?
I leave you the LINK just here, really great, I like her.
It reminds me of myself a few years ago, when I was taking lots of exercise and dancing. At a certain point I realized that I wanted to stop because my body was getting a little too “guy like”,believe it or not. Nobody thinks of me as a masculin girl, “au contraire”! But I experienced myself, that wearing a jeans and t-shirt, having a really toned strong body and short hair (which I also had at the time), made people look different at me.
Casey is totally right when she explains that you can feel comfortable wearing men’s clothes (whatever that means), it does not mean you stop being a woman… however, I love this subject because I actually feel that many woman with a certain amount of masculinity, are even more feminine in a way than others… don’t know if you get what I mean. Just leave me a comment if you like talking about it, I’m interested.

Don’t you think men’s sweaters, shirts or even pants are great? Where do you think the famous “boyfriend jeans” idea came from?? I seriously tink that very often, girls look very sexy, relaxed and pretty wearing stuff that was actually made for men. Men’s sweaters are wonderful, a little oversized even better.
This is a wool sweater, hand knitted. The long scarf is H&M, the trousers are Promod, and the shoes by Camel Active

As you might know, it’s still under zero degrees up here, and I still need wool, and scarfs. Sometimes even colors you don’t think can match, actually do look really good together, I just mix them without thinking a lot, and normally I do like the result.
Shoesby Camel Active ,model Pisa, color ginger.
Green Stockings by Falke “Soft Merino”.
Try to find scarfs with colors in them that match your eye color, it looks beautiful. The sweater is Marco Polo.

For everybody who loves to read something interesting in a fashion magazine, please get MADAME this month.
You have a gret article about the 70′ (written by Ines Schipperges), one of the greatest decades if you talk about fashion, you also find an excellent editorial titled ZWISCHENTÖNE, great model with a super cute haircut and precious clothes!
Page 37, the most gorgeous TRENCHCOATES, on page 63 you find something about Audrey Hepburn and it doesn’t stop here, please, if you are a fashion lover, take a look at this, it really IS worth it!

Me just to show you my favourite vintage winter skirt, by Stefanel, great product!
The pictures are very “home-made”, but what do I care, perfection is boring is it??
I think women should buy more skirts, and just put them on with a normal sweater. And I know that many girls believe skirts do not suit them, but let me tell you YOU’RE WRONG!! Just need to wear them with the right shoes, and feel comfortable and feminine.
Sweater by Mango
It’s a quite old wool skirt, by Stefanel as I said, great tailoring is necessary if you want a confortable skirt.

Yes, I know, today it’s not politically correct to wear a fur hat anymore. No “nice” person wears fur, no matter if coat or something else made of animal fur! I get it, and I don’t buy any fur myself, but this hat really does have a history, and it keeps my head and ears so warm! With a temperature under zero degrees, you need something effective, and this hat feels like a saviour.
I got it from a friend, and some other friend gave it to her, because nobody would wear it (they told her some people on the street just looked at it so weird), it was not IN anymore.
But guess what? Now even fur hats or accessoires that look like natural fur, are IN fashion again, just take a look at a fashion magazine where you can see the last winter collections. This hut I’m wearing, comes from east Berlin, he (yes, he, a hat has personality) is more than 20 years old and it must have cost a little fortune at the time. It’s a little vintage treasure to me, no matter how bad or politically incorrect some people might find it. I think if it keeps me warmer than any other hut I have, I just wear it following my basic human instincts.
NO cold is better!

Of course I find perfection boring sometimes, with the nose I have (not the only thing that is not perfect about me) I better love imperfection.

Here you have some interesting work, by a young designer who has a blog, I just leave you the link and you tell me your opinion, ok? I did really like it, and if there is a designer out there who is looking for the best prints, elegant, down to earth colors and sophisticated look, please give this girl a job, and sell me one dress so everybody can see it. The prints are for the “Dalia Scandinavia Collection”.
