Soft colors, great look?

I wanted to wear this wonderful dress, but needed a solution because I wanted it to be comfortable for work, and the temperatures we have now, not like summer anymore, but gentle and ideal for “wearing what I feel like”. I think about color even before thinking about a certain piece of clothing, that’s how it normally works, I guess that’s because I’m very color enthusiastic.

I also visited my dear boutique today, to see what’s new, Anzihend! of course, and my friend Andrea told me this high-waisted jeans was just perfect for me. She was right, it fits me like it’s done specially for my figure, “very Audrey Hepburn” she said, don’t know, but the buttons at the front are so special!

My vest is VERO MODA, the dress is VERO MODA too, the jeans is cheap!

Go grey! With Victoria Beckham.

In Uncategorized on August 27, 2013 at 5:42 pm

Yes, that’s hers, grey, simple, chic, perfect and clean, polite but sexy and powerful look for me, and I’m sure also for lots of other women out there.

Today I saw that post with a little black dress by Victoria at my dear blog Horstson, and left a comment. But I wanted so say it here once more: Victoria Beckham is such a good designer, but I have the feeling some people prefer her just wearing fashion.

She had a good career before she became a mother of 4, even before she married her husband, successful to! See how hate comes out when somebody already famous and rich (also not bad-looking) has something else to do, wants to do it, and does it with such success!

I don’t have a problem with creative people, or with fashion lovers like Victoria. She is in this business because it’s passion for fashion, because she can, because she enjoys it. I even hear women say “oh, but she does not draw anything”, you know what? Who cares??

I know more than the average fashion lover about drawing (actually have a degree in it), and if the idea, the concept, the taste and the work is hers, it does not make any difference if she can draw or not.

Well, I hope you like the dress I have chosen for this post, it’s the one I would buy, of course not the only one, but I fell in love with this grey treasure first time I saw it.

Thanks Victoria for your passion and work. Hope to met you some day, so I can tell you in person!

Remember Björk wearing that orange dress???

In ART, Iconic Woman on August 26, 2013 at 8:27 pm

Bjork_Glassdress

I know, this was not the first or the last time Björk did wear Alexander McQueen, but it’s the dress I could never forget. That glitter, that simplicity, that color, that shape…not to mention her, of course, no woman looks like her, sings like her, or gives us such a great performance on stage.

It’s not surprising to me that she has been so misunderstood for the way she uses fashion, she is not like other artists, or other women, she is Björk.

Not to reveal everything is sexy, and comfortable!

In Wonderful Looks&Outfits on August 25, 2013 at 3:02 pm

This is something I’ve always done, layers and layers of fabric I like. Sometimes I combine a few items I love because of the color, the texture, or the cut they have. They even look boring if you just wear one of them, but together it’s perfect.

The black dress is American Vintage, the dark green tank top is H&M, the pink one is so old and from my little sister, don’t remember why she would give it to me!

That’s how Cara Delavigne looks singing, like it…

cara delevingne song

If I want to know about news in the industry, I normally check my blogroll, and I found this picture and the video that goes with it at “This is Jane Wayne”, great blog.

Cara Delavigne for me is the type of girl that goes into modeling because she can, not because it’s what she wants to do, she is a creative person in the first place, does whatever she feels like, spends time with music, and does her job at fashion week.

It’s great, because she sounds quite like I expected her to sound like, natural. She has a voice that just comes out like that, and she works with that without trying to sell me any dramatic or romantic feeling…it’s the kind of voices I really love. For me she is THE kind of person that will make money out of everything, and she even will sell us new, fresh and good things from time to time, like Carla Bruni, or other models did before.

Thanks Cara, love you singing, keep doing it!!

Of course, the picture is from This is Jane Wayne.

My blue brand new bike from Holland!!

In Wonderful Looks&Outfits on August 21, 2013 at 10:43 am

I know, these bikes are IN again, but I’ve always loved them. I know many girls here in Germany have those Omafiez, which literally means “grandma bike”. You drive a bike like that sitting like a lady, it’s what I love, you can’t ride a Omafiez with a wrong posture, so it’s healthy, and beautiful.

And the look, ok, it’s just what I first found in front of me this morning: my Manas wedges, my skirt by For All Mankind, the tights I cut them off (which I do often) and from Esprit. The T-shirt is from one of my fav. brands, Marc O’Polo.

Tina Turner & Armani celebrating!!

Tina Turner & Armani celebrating!!

Tina Turner has always had a thing for fashion, she admits she loooves fashion so much she just can’t help it!
“I like it to be very special, love Armani…”
Armani recently celebrated that BIG event in his country, Italy, and told Spanish Vogue that Tina Turner was the woman who “better captured the spirit of the event”.
She said “you’re so classic, you’ve become an excentric!!”.
She is one of my biggest role models, favourite style icons, and the most powerful woman I’ll always adore her.
Thanks Tina.

Kate Bush in green, those tight suits!

In Iconic Woman on August 17, 2013 at 12:02 pm

Kate Bush in green, those tight suits!

This is the green that I personally never wear, it makes me look sick and pale, not my colour. But this is Kate, and I love dancing like she always did, and she chose this kind of dancing suits a few times for a shoot. Will these suits come back any time soon? In fashion I mean, would be fun. A few years ago I saw some celebs wearing a version of them on events, remember Madonna’s album wearing something similar on the cover??

“Valentino Vintage”, valentino red!

Here a real treasure somebody bought in Italy and luckily thought of me! It was so cheap she said “I just had to take it with me”. It´s a wonderful gift and I use it only from time to time because I want it to last! It’s like a little suitcase!

I discovered Lurdes Bergada!

In Wonderful Looks&Outfits on August 13, 2013 at 11:52 am

Lurdes Bergada, my new discovery. My mom was wearing that overall last day, and I had to ask her where she got “that” great item from. She explained to me that the woman called Lurdes Bergada (Spanish, of course) started making her own clothes because she never found what she liked, that was in the early 70s. Now she has boutiques in Barcelona, Madrid, Girona, and I’m sure she will grow even more, because she is different, and makes those elegant, casual and fun pieces I love. Here two of the latest looks by her, is it great, or not???

The photos I got them from http://fashionisima.es/, thank you so much!!
