Love Romy Schneider in white shorts and shirt..perfect.

I like the white shorts on Romy Schneider so much, but I chose this photo because I’m packing my stuff for my holiday in Spain, and I’m taking a little black dress and a white shirt with me (other pieces of course too), both are necessary!!! I’m also going to need some wide dresses I can take off and on again, for that modeling job I have… I’m going to post some photos of that after I’m back home, ok??

The photo is from Kari Kari

Ballerinas and Brigitte Bardot, voilà !!!

In Iconic Woman on July 29, 2013 at 5:11 pm

I decided to post Bardot’s photo (the choice was between her and Audrey Hepburn) because I used to wear my hair like that when I was younger, some lazy days I still do. I like that outfit, so classy and nothing complicated to it, but the real reason I post this is because I read that article on Les Mads about ballerinas this season. And ballerinas and Summer just don’t go together for me, I’m all for ballerinas the way Brigitte is wearing them here, with pants, or jeans, a t-shirt or a blouse, but never for Summer! I guess I’m a purist here, and I love sandals so much, feeling the air between my toes, that I never understand why girls or women would wear ballerina’s during Summer.

I specially love Repetto, it’s a personal obsession that gets you when you dance Ballet for so many years as a child and teenager I suppose… anyway, they’re the best for me, but I love peep toes, heels and boots so much there are not many  ballerina days in my life.

MYSELF Germany August 2013, buy it!!

In Iconic Woman on July 28, 2013 at 10:23 am

“Less is more”, if you agree on that you will have to buy MYSELF Germany, and read all they give us this August about wonderful Jane Birkin. Laetitia Casta is on the cover, gorgeous like always, and under her picture that sentence “Less is More”. You will find great suggestions for looks, a pretty interesting editorial and beautiful photos from Jane Birkin and her daughters. She is such an inspirational lady, she also should still be modeling, like Ana Von Rüden don’t you think??

So, very french this August, a little Pop and lots of fashion and perfect locations for the season. Please, if you want some print, buy it!!!

Now that we talk about not to long skirts… Marilyn Monroe had it!

In ART, Iconic Woman on July 3, 2013 at 9:50 am

Not showing everything, but being yourself and feeling the dress, or the skirt, or the jeans, is better than having your breasts out. Just look at that, how you can make a classic and “very decent” dress look so sensual.

I predicted a few colours for Summer and Fall (2013), remember????

In ART, Iconic Woman, Wonderful Looks&Outfits on June 30, 2013 at 6:45 pm

Yessss!!! Last day I was working on the runway photos from Elle and other magazines, and I saw incredible and really perfect cuts in the Victoria Beckham blouses and skirts, and the colours I said I would wear this next two seasons back in March!!

Shades of grey, beige, soft orange or glitter turquoise (which I posted a lot last week), every tone between grey and blue and different nuances going from brown to beige. Everything is there, and I was so happy to see those silk trousers, wide, elegant, sexy, and orange (that thing between orange and a warm red-brown), with a vest (oh the vests!) and a top just like I would love to be able to make myself, thank you Diane Von Fürstenberg. I’ll play the prediction game every now and then, tell me if I’m wrong.

White dresses for summer, Isabel Marant always has some for you!!

In Wonderful Looks&Outfits on May 14, 2013 at 8:24 am

I’ve always had a thing for white dresses or blouses, white cotton or silk can look so natural and clean on a woman’s body. I don’t care if it’s a white shirt from your boyfriend or husband, a tunica or a white cotton tank top, I love white and specially in the summer it’s so bright! Isabel Marant always makes the dresses I love, and I bet she would agree with my very personal way of wearing a long white skirt as it was a dress, a few summers ago…

These dresses are from this summer collection, got the runway picture from Coquette “born to be beautiful”, the link is below my blogroll if you like to see more.

Madame mai (Germany) buy it!! Louis Vuitton, Albrecht Ollendiek, and “Amour Fou”…

In Uncategorized on May 13, 2013 at 5:32 pm

Amour Fou, a soft and feminine editorial showing classic gorgeous peaces on a really sensual model…it’s my favourite fashion editorial in this Madame. I also read the name Albrecht Ollendiek for the first time (sorry, I bet most of you already know him and I didn’t?), his work is good, I like it.

We also have two pages with the Six stars of tomorrow, and an interview with Pink. I admit I never was a fan of her, but she told Madame “having a child is the hardest job in the world”. As a mother I obviously share her opinion, I hope every mother and men does to!!

Other topics this moth: Art, trends, wonderful locations to travel to…and a rare article about handwriting and its meaning (why do we write some things on paper and other we don’t?) by Rüdiger von Naso, it’s worth reading it.

So, if you want to buy something printed with not just trends, buy it!!! MADAME.

Cover photo, her site is interesting by the way!

I don’t really follow “market research”…VOGUE covers.

Anna Wintour again, she follows her instincts and her true personal vision. I think I’m fan of Wintour. Thanks Anna, it’s always an inspiration listening to you.

Meryl and the Devil that wears Prada, it’s fun fashion.

I have no words, I had great laughs when I saw this movie the first time. Meryl is superb.

Vogue Germany (May) buy it! Interview with Iris Apfel.

In ART, Iconic Woman on April 21, 2013 at 11:48 am

I already told you I respect older people, their experience is better than a book to me and Iris Apfel is amazing, adorable, smart, funny, so rare (if not totally unique) and one of a kind. Did you know she has a voice of a young woman? See this video please and listen to her:

Ok, Iris Apfel is the excuse to recommend you the German VOGUE this month. What’s in there?

Takashi Murakami (who lives my dream, having ideas and guys who just get it done for you!), punk, glam, great 20s fashion, films, Yohji Yamamoto (another guy I love for his work and personality) talking about a perfume and other stories…and of course the last trends.
Please, no matter where you live, buy it!!!
