Skirts from the 70s, why do I adore them?

Why do I love the skirts of the 70s so much?? I love so many different kinds and designs when it comes to skirts. And wear them all, mini, midi, maxy, pencil, A shape like skirts, or the ones like in this picture. I always remember Romy Schneider wearing skirts, and a great belt is just wonderful!
