Karl Lagerfeld and Genius thinking, you have genius too!

In Business, Famous Designers, Icons on January 1, 2015 at 11:38 pm

Karl Lagerfeld is one of the most experienced people on the globe, when it comes to fahsion, drawing, art, culture in general and amazing creative work. His genius thinking is more like a child’s mind, that still is able to operate on a genius level, without judging, adapting, and creating by intuition.

Love Blue classic denim, so feminine, so Romy Schneider!! And the high waist is so comfortable to keep a bit warmer… sometimes fahion needs to be comfortable and beautiful!!

Talking about sticking to what you want!! Even HEIDI KLUM refused to change for fashion…

Heidi Klum was asked, or let’s say “got the advice or suggestion” to lose some weight, because she was too curvy…and cut her hair very short to become more edgy…They told her  “your breasts are too big for the clothes”, so she never did the big fashion shows in Paris, Milan or New York, besides, she was considered too short and heavy.

But she said no “I’m going to find my way”.

Stop thinking you have to be like they tell you to be, its personality what wins at the end! Thank you!!

Veruschka, you always get me!!! it’s about havin something they will remember…

In ART, Business, Iconic Woman on October 3, 2014 at 2:33 pm

Italian director and photographer Franco Rubartelli and German countess and fashion model Veruschka look away from each other at the premiere of their film 'Veruschka, Poetry of a Woman, Rome, April 1971

Why Veruschka?? Because Veruschka is one of my not only models, but fav artists ever!! She is an example, again, of an artist getting the freedom to do whatever is in her heart, and the result is superb!! If you take an artist, or a very creative person, and you give the tools and the time to create, the result will always be interesting…Veruschka was the first german top model, in a decade where top models where not even on the map yet…love you Vera!! And she found out what the system behind the business was. “It had nothing to do with how you looked, it’s was about projecting such a unique projection that they could never forget about you again”. There you go!

Tina Turner & Armani celebrating!!

Tina Turner has always had a thing for fashion, she admits she loooves fashion so much she just can’t help it!
“I like it to be very special, love Armani…”
Armani recently celebrated that BIG event in his country, Italy, and told Spanish Vogue that Tina Turner was the woman who “better captured the spirit of the event”.
She said “you’re so classic, you’ve become an excentric!!”.
She is one of my biggest role models, favourite style icons, and the most powerful woman I’ll always adore her.
Thanks Tina.

I discovered Lurdes Bergada!

In Wonderful Looks&Outfits on August 13, 2013 at 11:52 am

Lurdes Bergada, my new discovery. My mom was wearing that overall last day, and I had to ask her where she got “that” great item from. She explained to me that the woman called Lurdes Bergada (Spanish, of course) started making her own clothes because she never found what she liked, that was in the early 70s. Now she has boutiques in Barcelona, Madrid, Girona, and I’m sure she will grow even more, because she is different, and makes those elegant, casual and fun pieces I love. Here two of the latest looks by her, is it great, or not???

The photos I got them from http://fashionisima.es/, thank you so much!!
