I like the white shorts on Romy Schneider so much, but I chose this photo because I’m packing my stuff for my holiday in Spain, and I’m taking a little black dress and a white shirt with me (other pieces of course too), both are necessary!!! I’m also going to need some wide dresses I can take off and on again, for that modeling job I have… I’m going to post some photos of that after I’m back home, ok??

My last post was about how I like wearing ballerinas, and I prefer them with jeans. The ballerinas I love right now, are the ones I got from Anziehend!, they come in a little bag, and you can fold them so they always fit in somewhere, they’re flexible, comfortable, and just beautiful. From TCM.
I decided to post Bardot’s photo (the choice was between her and Audrey Hepburn) because I used to wear my hair like that when I was younger, some lazy days I still do. I like that outfit, so classy and nothing complicated to it, but the real reason I post this is because I read that article on Les Mads about ballerinas this season. And ballerinas and Summer just don’t go together for me, I’m all for ballerinas the way Brigitte is wearing them here, with pants, or jeans, a t-shirt or a blouse, but never for Summer! I guess I’m a purist here, and I love sandals so much, feeling the air between my toes, that I never understand why girls or women would wear ballerina’s during Summer.
I specially love Repetto, it’s a personal obsession that gets you when you dance Ballet for so many years as a child and teenager I suppose… anyway, they’re the best for me, but I love peep toes, heels and boots so much there are not many ballerina days in my life.

If I’m not wrong, I’ve been wearing this maxi skirt for more than a decade (a bit longer than 11 years!!), but it’s still perfect without shoes or with flats when it’s warm and I just want to put on something quick. Even for a dinner or a drink, it feels sexy and comfortable. The colour is in again, we will see it a lot next fall and winter, one of my favourites ever. It’s one of those pieces you have to feel, or better choose another option like jeans or a dress.
The t-shirt feels like you’re not wearing anything, it’s from FRENCH CONNECTION, the skirt is PROMOD.
It’s the first thought that crossed my mind when I first saw a picture of over 60 top model Ana Von Rüden: that’s how I would like to be when I’m over 60. Long beautiful hair, confidence, tons of personality, beauty, maturity and a face that shows I’m not 40 anymore, without botox, and fit!
She is great and must have a special sense of humour, being backstage with 18-year-old models and just do the job naturally and better than anyone else, is funny, and really cool. She is cool, chic, it’s classy and timeless, and she looks like a superwoman to me, proud to be who she is. Thank you Ana Von Rüden for being there for all of us reminding women what’s interesting.

Yesterday I read the whole story about the dress that made Diane Von Fürstenberg famous for the first time, and I loved to read that she hasn’t got any design education, it’s all her idea, her vision (again, vision) and talent!! Love it, it’s so easy for every woman and figure. She was looking for a dress she couldn’t find, so she made it!!

Today I just put my t-shirt the other way around, and it looks much better to me, I like showing my back a little, and I find it very elegant, if we don’t always have “our boobs out”, having your back out instead is such a simple and elegant option. Blue is one of the colours I don’t wear every day, very often it’s an alternative to white or black, I find turquoise even better.

Very few women can wear glitter like this, Kate Moss walks down the stairs just like she would do with a white t-shirt and jeans. It’s the way I prefer golden or silver tops, keeping it simple, the same goes for hair and make up. When it comes to long dresses, I love the designs from the 70s. Natalia Vodianova is also a great example for how to wear glitter and still look fresh”.
