People need to stand out some how, no matter if it’s because of the mindset, or the look. ” IT doesn’t matter actually what you look like, it’s about creating such a strong image they never forget about you again!” Veruschka.

Kate Moss did stand out, was she considered real modeling material? No!! Was Jonny Depp really what most people where looking for casting actors? No!

Was Veruschka a perfect beauty in the 60s with her big feet, her very long and skinny legs and her bones? No!

Where they special, and are they still HERE as style icons? YES

Thanks for Vogue for Kate’s photo.

Karl Lagerfeld, would pay just to hear him talking for 30 minutes… such great vision of time!!

Vivienne Westwood and Kate Moss…think they enjoy being themselves?

In ART, Business, Iconic Woman, Wonderful Looks&Outfits on October 17, 2014 at 6:50 pm

Kate-Moss-and-Vivienne-Westwood-1

Well, Kate Moss is an example of “I don’t care” attitude, when it comes to enjoy doing what she loves, no matter what the world thinks about it. And this beautiful picture of Kate with Vivienne Westwood shows me even more, how important it is to enjoy being the person you are, with your unique skills, personality and style doing your business or simply living it!

Vivienne Westwood said that sentence I mentioned on a video days ago ” the most interesting people are the thinkers”, and also that  ” there is no latest thing, it’s all BS”. So doing things your way is key to know who you are, otherwise people will try to tell you who YOU are. How is Kate Moss the style icon that she is? Because she has no stylist, that might be one reason, so she does what she feels like doing, and kept doing it for so long… we adore it!

ARTE, Tina Turner cover I love…thank you Tina

In ART, Iconic Woman on October 16, 2014 at 9:47 am

tinaI really have a thing for great portraits, and Tina Turner has a face, an expression and that kind of style and maturity that I adore on women. Tina Turner has inspired me since I was 13, and actually the first proper concert that went to, was Tina Turner in Barcelona 1996. I’ll never forget that night…Thanks ARTE Germany for this wonderful cover, for the wonderful picture and for reminding us what it means to stick to your dreams, no matter what.

Thank you Debbie Harry, for everything…

Debbie Harry, 1977. Beautiful pink color, beautiful flowers, and a wonderful face. I say wonderful, not pretty, because Debbie has a face you don’t see often. Perfect cheekbones, shape of her lips, her forehead is not too big, not too small… it’s a perfect mixture.

I get fascinated by faces, personalities and mostly iconic women very often. I still love listening and dancing to Blondie, and enjoy videos of that time so much!! Thanks Debby for your unique style, personality, and for still being there.

Veruschka, you always get me!!! it’s about havin something they will remember…

Italian director and photographer Franco Rubartelli and German countess and fashion model Veruschka look away from each other at the premiere of their film 'Veruschka, Poetry of a Woman, Rome, April 1971

Why Veruschka?? Because Veruschka is one of my not only models, but fav artists ever!! She is an example, again, of an artist getting the freedom to do whatever is in her heart, and the result is superb!! If you take an artist, or a very creative person, and you give the tools and the time to create, the result will always be interesting…Veruschka was the first german top model, in a decade where top models where not even on the map yet…love you Vera!! And she found out what the system behind the business was. “It had nothing to do with how you looked, it’s was about projecting such a unique projection that they could never forget about you again”. There you go!

YESS, I know, I just found out about Kate Bush LIVE again!!

In ART, Iconic Woman on June 18, 2014 at 10:12 am

YESS, I know, I just found out about Kate Bush LIVE again!!

Yes I know, this was already in the media at the end of March, like my birthday. But I’ve been so out of everything I found out today, and I had to cry because I could not get any tickets. Kate, wonderful Kate. How many female artists would not even be there today, without Kate? One of the most honest, original, powerful and unique artists ever. I love you.

Yellow-Cream halter dress on Romy Schneider, again, fabulous…

In ART, Iconic Woman, Wonderful Looks&Outfits on April 9, 2014 at 7:02 pm

This is what I love about simple little dresses, they can look terrible if they don’t suit you or the color or the kind of “design” isn’t the one for you, but if everything fits and you wear it just like this…like Romy Schneider did in Swimming Pool, it’s incredible! Showing your back, your neck, and your legs is not just possible in a classic little black dress, yellow or cream tones are great if your skin has a natural tan (don’t fake it please, a natural white skin is just as beautiful!). I specially love the details on the neck, have a thing for special necks on dresses or sweaters…no matter what the item is really, look at the neck!

Thanks GlamAmor for the pictures, I’ve been waiting for them for a few days!
