PURPLE FRINGING top, casual look...

Here it is, just had to try it on at Andrea’s boutique Anziehend!, THE place I visit every month looking for new treasures…I have to tell you, I find something every time I go there!!
It’s not easy to find fringing on a casual cotton item. The top has a great cut, and feels light and casual.

A year ago I needed my biggest Cardigan (with leather skirt)

In Wonderful Looks&Outfits on February 19, 2014 at 1:44 pm

I’m a fan of big cardigans, wool, warm stuff. And let’s face it, in Germany I just need that to feel comfortable in February. This year we are doing pretty well, I can even go out without tree layers of cashmere or wool, but last year it was just incredibly cold. And I want you to see this picture, because last week I saw some items of a new collection, don’t exactly remember what brand, but it looked just like my black cardigan. I’m pretty sure it was MANGO that had a big cardigan with a ver similar shape, mine is warmer though!

Angel Schlesser, I think Elin Kling could wear this look right now!

Mercedes – Benz Fashion Week Madrid is getting better every season, Angel Schlesser is one of my favourite designers and this time the lines are so clean… I guess less is more to him. It’s fine with me, I don’t need anything complicated, and flat shoes are more trendy than ever. You know I normally don’t care about trends that much but I love flats as much as I love heels, it just needs to fit, and here it does perfectly. The dress is one of those items you can have inside your wardrobe forever, it’s classic but not boring, black but not the little black dress you usually think about. I buy it.

New from Japlongaplong! For your kid’s legs!

In Wonderful Looks&Outfits on February 11, 2014 at 2:42 pm

I love a little retro patterns sometimes, shades of turquoise and blue are great… at Japlongaplong! we always have new fabric coming in, colorful, fun and great quality stuff. These “babylegs” are one of the classic pieces, and yesterday I just got these for my little girl, she loves wearing them when she has a skirt or a dress on, no matter if it’s a Japlongaplong! design or not.

Please take a look at the site, it’s under my blogroll on “special boutiques”, and it’s a label that stands for quality, sustainable work and fabric, and so long-lasting designs you can’t break them, so perfect for kids. But don’t be sad if you don’t have children, the designs for us grown girls and women are coming very soon.

Prediction Game, I think Olivia Harte will be very big in the industry.

Prediction Game, I think Olivia Harte will be very big in the industry.

It’s one of those “feeling moments” I have, I see a face and it tells me something, it brings me to places. I’m a real face or body freak, I love looking at faces the way I look at paintings, or flowers. Time will tell me if I’m wrong, I think I’m not. She works with ELITE London

Great and new discoveries about Women!!!

In Wonderful Looks&Outfits on February 7, 2014 at 1:41 pm

I just had a coffee in that lovely place (they have real Ethiopian coffee by the way, delicious), and I picked a magazine because I was thinking too much and wanted my brain to focus on something else. And there it was, the FOCUS (magazine), and the title was something like “What do women really want”, it’s always interesting to have a magazine tell me what I want, but it was a scientific approach to the subject, interesting. Just give you in one sentence what they needed 4 pages to tell us:

“Women are way more complex than man when it comes to be excited (in every sense of the word) about stuff, and they learn how not to tell or not to feel certain things because it’s not allowed”. So women are much more likely to be the “censorship in our brain” than man, but they have such a “varieté” of things that stimulate them that it’s better to keep some of them hidden…

I guess that’s why women are also happy when they have a happy wardrobe, we are as visual as men but extremely more diverse when it comes to seeing and feeling…so there you go!! That’s why I say “feel the dress!!”, here a picture taken almost a decade ago, I was feeling that dress and the glasses! Have a nice day.

Ok guys, Tom Jones and Kate Moss, that’s cool.

In ART, Iconic Woman on February 5, 2014 at 9:10 am

Tom, Sir Tom, always there, because who has been there as long as Tom??. Of course other artists out there survived the 60s and 70s, but let’s face it, Tom is different.

Still that hair, that smile, that charming and gentleman attitude. Sir Tom Jones is The Man, the man I would love to met just to have a drink and listen to him, because as Kylie recently said on The Voice UK (where both work as judges), Tom’s voice sounds cool even when he is coughing! And she said that just after that lovely girl auditioning said:  “your voice sounds a little bit like God, imagine just Got talking to you, you would be the voice”. That was really fun to watch, because Tom, always with his sense of humour and his Welsh ways, was so humble and surprised to hear that from a 16-year-old that said “I started doing gigs when I was 13”, and came to The Voice with her guitar singing her own version of “I’m Sexy and I know it”.

Sexy, even that is still there, like him. Will.I.am, who also sits there as a judge just beside Kylie and Tom, says things like “you’ll be save in the hands of the wisdom”, or ” this man has worked with every artist that ever lived on this planet”. Will, you’re one of a kind too, but Tom is Tom Jones.

Well, not a wonder he knows Kate Moss, and likes being next to her. I think Tom has a great common sense (so has Kate, otherwise I don’t think she would survive the business for that long), and Kate Moss is just becoming to fashion what Tom Jones is to music, a legend. Love them both, and Tom’s hair just finishes the look both of them give together! Sorry Tom, you know I love you.

Thanks to Grazia Daily Uk, there you’ll find a great review of Kate Moss looks over the years.

Earl Grey and flowers on my midi skirt!

In Wonderful Looks&Outfits on February 4, 2014 at 7:39 pm

I’ve always been careful with flowers. Of course I do love flowers, but sometimes they should stay in a vase, and not looking like a vase yourself, don’t you think? But they are really beautiful and wearable skirts to buy now, and this one is my midi wool skirt, my only flowers skirt! I need warm skirts for the winter here, and of course my very comfortable boots are a must. And it all feels better after having a tea!

The skirt must be from a few seasons ago, it’s ZARA Woman (very rarely buy there), it was second-hand and I had to make it a little smaller for my little waste, but it was worth it!

What is your favourite photo?

What is your favourite photo?

This was taken in 2004 if I’m not wrong…wow, it’s a long time ago already.
A young photographer took in that big apartment in Barcelona, a few friends where there and they wanted to take pictures of me wearing that fur coat. The hat was my idea, we had no photo set or anything, no make up artist, no chance to set the lights properly. However, I love this photo.
