Little 70s look for a sunny day with lots of rain…

I always love wearing skirts, this one is not too long but not mini either, so very casual and comfortable. I still needed a hat to cover my hair and ears because the wind and the rain are there showing up every 30 minutes, very crazy wether in April! I’m sure you already know this vest I’m wearing here, it’s been in my wardrobe for quite a long time but I’m all for combining the clothes I love again and again. It’s what you do with classic pieces, they never are “out”…and if they are, who cares anyway! Stick to what you look best in, and a little 70’s skirt and boots look does not hurt.

 

The brands are VERO MODA, HALLHUBER, a very old PROMOD skirt and FALKE legwear, so very affordable and pretty stuff!!

What is your favourite photo?

This was taken in 2004 if I’m not wrong…wow, it’s a long time ago already.
A young photographer took in that big apartment in Barcelona, a few friends where there and they wanted to take pictures of me wearing that fur coat. The hat was my idea, we had no photo set or anything, no make up artist, no chance to set the lights properly. However, I love this photo.

Tweed Dreams!!! See you tomorrow.

Love tweed, we actually work with tweed every day at Japlongaplong!, if you have a great fabric even kids can wear tweed trousers and they last forever. I’ve always loved that material, and my tweed dream is this coat. Now it’s more in than ever, I know, but that’s not why I wear it. Also my tweed skirt by Stefanel is a classic, stick by what you love.

The coat is from my fav. boutique Anziehend!, but not new, so I don’t know the brand, it’s a shame. The denim skirt is ForAllMankind. The hat is second-hand too.

OVERSIZE, it works for me!

Oversize cardigans and sweaters are something I use a lot, it’s easier to wear a layer look, and besides, I don’t really think very tight clothes do always look feminine on women. This wool cardigan is from TARA JARMON, the dress is OASIS, the wool hat is hand knitted and one more treasure from my dear boutique ANZIEHEND!, the Boots are from KLN (already had them on in January), and the scarf is Tom Taylor, the stockings as almost always, FALKE “Soft Merino”.

My inspiration this week

These cute accessoires to keep your wrists and hands warm are of course hand knitted, the blue glitter shoes are italian (tell me where do you see such shoes?), the beautiful skirt is from Container, really cute Scandinavian Dresses they make, and of course the hat, very twenties style which I adore, also hand-made from RAUM 23, in Braunschweig. And the shoes… just cute!!!

Today is a Hat day

It’s still winter, raining a bit, but for me it’s a “Hat Day”, which makes it all nicer. Same with heels, some days I’m all for high heels, and other days I could never where them.

The wool cardigan is from Vero Moda, the cashmere sweater is In Linea, scarf from H&M, and the skirt is Promod. Got the cardigan from ANZIEHEND! again, you simply find cute things every time you look!

New skirt and the sun is shining!
